My previous case was an Alienware. It was really nice but it was too small and with a bad ventilation. I made some minor modifications on it : black interior paint, some cuts for cable-management, and my first sleevings with really poor sleeve kit...

So I decided to change it for a bigger case. After a visit on www.million-dollar-pc.com I fell in love with the Silverstone TJ07. So I bought it !
I put the Alienware hardware in the TJ07 and here started problems... The Alienware PSU had too short cables for this big case and it was impossible to fit it right.

No way ! I could not stay with this ugly machine ! I can't close the site panel ! I bought an used Corsair HX1000 PSU that I fully sleeved. And then I met Murphy ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murphy's_law ) : the sleeving just done, the Corsair died. I don't why, but it died... Thank's Murphy !

I bought (again...) a PSU. With Charles's (www.murderbox.com) advice I chose the Silverstone Strider 1000 which is fully modular. For the little history it wasn't available in France when I bought it (Murphy was not far...) so I ordered it in Switzerland and it took one month before I received it. During this time I bought two Aquadrive X2 from Aquacomputer to put my 4 HDD's in the front bays. Useful inside but awful outside!

I used a carbon plate to make a custom backplate but the cut I made were very bad and I gave up the project.

I finally received the Strider 1000 : it's a real pleasure this PSU ! But I made a new full PSU to sleeve : too long !!

As there were not enough PCI-Express 6 pins I used the R.I.P. Corsair one's and sleeved it.
